⸺  Biography

Delbee Kha was born to Sarantuya Kha, a master goldsmith from Othard and Erdene LeBeau, a clothier from Ishgard. Their love story started when Sarantuya tutored under Erdene and the two felt a spark. They married within a year and went several years before trying for children. During this time, Erdene was becoming increasingly ill from a long term condition. Sadly, he would not get to see the birth of his daughter.Despite lacking her father, her paternal grandparents are active in her upbringing. She attended the same school her father did during the school year and returned to her mother in Kugane during the summers and holidays. She was a pain, always quick to anger and ready to start fights. Her maternal grandmother hailed from an all-women's Xaela tribe and would train her during her childhood summers. All this fighting and anger made her join Kugane's military force as soon as she was of age, dropping from school. She would spend six years in their forces.While fighting Garlemald, she made friends with a viera boy named Valerian, who would later become a lover. He brought her home to Old Sharlayan where she met his cousin, Altan and her parents who quickly took to her. The Grays became a secondary family for Delbee and even after Valerian and her broke up she remains close to the viera family.After the break up she asked to transfer to the Gridanian forces in hopes of finding a way to settle down and get out of the military. She was growing exhausted with the fighting and always getting injured (her own fault, really). She spends a year with Gridania before retiring and moving back to Kugane with her mother.Shortly after returning home, she found a job as a bartender and made some friends in the process. Regretfully, she would enter another relationship that would not end well for her but would start her new passion for all things firearms. She has taken very basic safety lessons on how to use her new weapons, but is still lacking real discipline.

⸺  Bonds

  HOOK 001    : I will shoot.During her last relationship Delbee found a passion for all things gun-shaped. Her previous military background as a paladin taught her how to take a punch, but there was something very simple and pleasing about a gun.
Delbee would love to meet engineers or machinists, gunbreakers and even sages. Recently, she has been teaching herself how to maneuver her old dancing steps with the weapons in hand instead of the normal battle-fans.  HOOK 002    : I can drink to that.While Delbee can cook enough to survive, when she was taught the art of mixology she really found herself at home, whether it be in the company of the patron or the spirits.
Delbee is always down to show off her skills and get her friends and loved ones a bit in their cups. More often than not this is when she starts to convince them that gambling with her is a great idea.  HOOK 003    : Watercolor eyes.Delbee has always had a love for the arts. Most mediums escape her, but she has a fondness for watercolors and painting the world around her. She normally keeps a small easel and paint set on her but she does occasionally pack a full set and adventure.
She would be entirely lying if she said she did not want company with her while doing this, or to attract new friends who might be interested in sharing their love for the arts with her.  HOOK 004    : A city that never sleeps.Delbee used to spend most of her nights out in the cities, finding new bars and dance clubs, but she has settled down this last year. This does not mean that she has stopped, and loves to find new places or something themed.
Most of her friends have become homebodies, so she still yearns for people to crawl out into the night and make it everyone else's problem that they are there.
